The founder of Stature Engineering – E.B. Pannkuk – grew up in construction, working on construction sites in middle and high school.
He earned his degree in Civil Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he was named the top steel designer in his class. After college, he served as an Army officer in the Corps of Engineers for eight years. During his time in the Corps, he was an owner’s representative and supervised the Corps building design and construction efforts for the 82D Airborne at Fort Bragg, NC and later for Tazsar Airfield, Hungary.
He also managed a 200 building repair and remodeling program for the 82D Airborne. After he left the Army, E.B. was a project manager for W.G. Yates Construction where he completed Beach Club, a 20-story condominium building in Pensacola Beach, FL.
E.B. has been a structural engineer in the Wilmington area since 2007. He has completed numerous projects for many client categories, including: Educational, residential, commercial, municipal, industrial, marine, historic restoration, building addition projects, concrete repair, building envelop repair, and pedestrian bridges. He has produced numerous building maintenance programs for industrial, municipal, and Home Owners Associations. He is a past president of the North Carolina Structural Engineers Association; licensed PE in NC, SC, and VA; and has a M.S. in Engineering Management.
